The Southern Maryland Senators suffered their second consecutive mercy rule loss yesterday to the Gaithersburg Giants, 13-1.
Gaithersburg put up a whopping 13 runs as they had four in the second, two in the third, four in the fourth, and three in the seventh. Catcher Barham White led the way for the Giants, tallying up four RBIs, two hits, and two runs.
Meanwhile, the Senators could only achieve one run, as left fielder Nathan Brewer scored after centerfielder Owen DeShazo hit an RBI single.
